All work and no play....definitely does not describe the way I like to approach life! I've been there and done that, and vowed never again become a slave to "work". Which is why I absolutely LOVE it when clients want to do a photo-shoot just for the fun of it, no rules and no holds barred. You really can't ask for anything more than that!

Meet Cheryl (aka Ewan Wotarmy, captain of my roller derby team The Contrabanditas) and Sophia. Anytime these 2 are around, you're pretty much guaranteed sore cheeks from laughing so hard. This particular afternoon, we headed down to the renowned House of Jazz for some kicks and giggles and these girls did not disappoint. They kept me on my toes, and sometimes laughing so hard I couldn't even take the shot. Thanks guys for keeping things fun, fresh and interesting for me! Much love! xoxox

Sweet Revenge

Revenge is sweeeeet....the Ditas made zombies out of Toronto's Gore Gore Girls in an awesome slaughter. Final score Contrabanditas 63 - GGGs 17. Ditas move on to the next round on the tourney, playing at 11:40 tomorrow morning.

Beast update

Montreal's La Racaille hit the track against Toronto's Chicks Ahoy....no surprise Montreal took it 81 to 12. Awesome job Racaille....maybe we'll see you in the finals...again.

Beast of the East III

This weekend is the Beast of the East III tournament - a two day Roller Derby tournament where 28 teams from all over the Eastern region battle it out on the track for the title of Beast winners. Last year, although we were the underdogs, the Contrabanditas made it all the way to the finals and came in second. This year, the Ditas are out for blood and want revenge. That Beast head will be ours.
