Since starting this blog in August 2009, I have managed to write 62 posts. 62 posts!? Really?? That's a far cry from the number of posts I read daily, I tell ya! I have more than 62 photographers locked into my Top Sites list whose blogs I go to for a daily dose of entertainment, eye candy and inspiration!
But there are only a handful of photographers who never cease to inspire and amaze me with their professional & personal accomplishments. One said photographer is Dale Benfield of Fayetteville, NW Arkansas. Dale was a high-school English teacher when he decided to pursue his dreams of becoming a pro photographer; today he's an industry leading wedding photographer, teaching workshops, doing speaking engagements for Miller's (his lab of choice). He's also been featured on Style Me Pretty and published in Junebug Weddings. Know how I know? (I mean aside from being a huge stalker, uh, fan of his, that is?) Because he's written about it on his blog. Dale Benfield is a crazy awesome writer/blogger. In fact, he has posted every single day for the past 1,087 days!! Now THAT is some crazy commitment to blogging about his life passions; his daughter, his wife, his photography.
Dale recently wrote an eBook called Blogging for Photographers, which is available on iBooks. I finally got my hands on it and ate it up in one sitting. It's definitely a resource I'll be keeping on hand during this 30-day challenge. Thanks Dale, for your blogging experience and the never ending inspiration in life and photography! xoxo
